Utility Contractor 41 Westech Wolf Hydroexcavator The Westech Wolf non-code certified hydrovac truck is ideal for oil and gas cus- tomers working in extreme conditions. The debris body is positioned on the optimal spot of the chassis to ensure the payload is proportionately distributed across all axles simultaneously, maximizing legal payload for customers and improving opera- tional efficiency. The side-mounted water tanks reduce the weight by more than 40 percent, lowering the overall cost of the truck. The 1,500-gallon capacity ensures ample water storage capacity for large or remote jobs. A top-mounted "no-touch" water fill system is easily accessible from the passenger side of the vehicle. The debris body is lifted using a telescoping, dual-acting hydraulic cylinder capable of 36,000 lbs of force. When fully extended, the debris body exceeds a 45-degree dump angle for fast and efficient offloading. Web: westechvac.com WHEEL LOADERS Doosan Doosan Infracore North America LLC has extended its wheel loader lineup with the new DL280-5. The Doosan DL280-5 is part of the popular category of 3- to 4-cubic-yard wheel loaders. It is designed to provide operators with enhanced performance and com- fort as well as increased uptime protection. The 172-hp DL280-5 is manufactured with a standard Z-bar lift-arm linkage and is ideal for scooping, loading, carrying and general construction tasks. Operators requiring additional dumping capabilities into trucks and hoppers will benefit from the high-lift Z-bar configuration available on the DL280-5. The high-lift iteration provides an additional 18 in. of dump height. Doosan Infracore North America LLC, headquartered in Suwanee, Georgia, markets the Doosan brand of prod- ucts that includes crawler excavators, wheel excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, material handlers, log loaders and attachments. The 126-hp loader utilizes Komatsu's versatile Parallel Z-bar (PZ) loader linkage, combining the advan- tages of a parallel lift linkage for pallet handling and high tilt forces for large attachments. The PZ linkage offers large breakout and lift force for quick and easy bucket-filling. The WA200-7 features the Komatsu Variable Flow Turbocharger (KVFT) and Exhaust Gas Recir- culation (EGR) valve for precise air management as well as long component life. The sim- plicity of this configuration on the 4-cylinder engine provides a robust and reliable system without additional hydraulic lines. Automatically functioning Komatsu SmartLoader Logic helps save fuel by decreasing engine torque when the loader is not working as hard. Web: komatsuamerica.com Wacker Neuson Wheel Loaders Wacker Neuson offers three types of wheel loaders in North America: all wheel steer, articulated and telescopic. All-wheel steer loaders (AWS) are de- signed with a ridged one-piece chassis that prevents shifts in the center of grav- ity at full turn. This ensures stability, event when working on uneven ground and maintains constant payload. Articulated wheel loaders are designed with an articulation joint, allowing the machine to pivot. When working in con- fined areas with tight turns and uneven terrain, the articulated wheel load- ers are excellent. Telescopic wheel loaders offer a two-in-one machine concept with additional reach for stacking and dumping with a telescopic boom, plus ground engaging capabilities, providing added versatility and greater produc- tivity.
